Tocopheryl acetate
Item No.

Description
Tocopherols (vitamin E) are of central importance in the body and have many different functions. Most importantly, they act as radical scavengers. So-called free radicals are very small charged particles that are coincidentally produced, for instance as a result of solar radiation. They are highly reactive and thus often damage cell walls or split other important molecules. Vitamin E reduces the effects of free radicals.Vitamin E is effective even in the smallest amounts and supports the skin thanks to its radical scavenging properties. Its protective impact not only benefits the skin, but also the cosmetics themselves. The antioxidant properties of tocopherol also protect lipids in creams and emulsions from breaking down. Therefore, vitamin E is also a natural preservative for vegan natural cosmetics.
Usage description
