Description
Milk thistle silybum marianum l.) - asteraceae family. Seeds containing fatty oil (32%), essential oil, chromones, resins, mucilage, biogenic amines (tyramine, histamine), flavonol-lignans (silybin, silidianan, taxifolin, silihristin). It has anti-inflammatory, laxative, hemostatic, choleretic, hepatoprotective effect. It is used for diseases of liver, biliary tract, spleen, gallstones, hemorrhoids, colitis, diseases of the cardiovascular system, respiratory system. Young leaves are edible and are used in salads, sauces, soups. They are included in Ultra-liver protection.
