Magnesium carbonate
Item No.
Z 720

Description
Magnesium carbonate, MgCO3, is an inorganic chemical compound. The compound of magnesium and carbonate is a combination of the important mineral magnesium and the acid-neutralising carbonate. Magnesium carbonate taken orally should be able to bind superfluous acids and therefore is one of the most effective antacids. It should therefore be particularly effective againstheartburn when this is caused by too much acid in the stomach leading to discomfort from the acid rising in the oesophagus.
