Olio essenziale di aghi di abete rosso

Item No. Z 737

The medicinal active ingredients of spruce are its tips (fresh shoots) and the essential oil extracted from the fresh needles, twig tips or branches (spruce needle oil). Spruce needle oil, like spruce tips, has therefore been proven to be effective against diseases of the respiratory tract. It is also proven to be useful for rheumatic complaints and mild nerve pain. Spruce needle oil consists of 20 to 45% of the essential oil bornyl acetate and 1 to 8% of borneol. The main effect can therefore be attributed to these two essential oils. In addition, spruce needle oil contains other essential oils such as limonene, α- and β-pinene, camphene or myrcene. Together with the main components, all volatile oils favour each other and cause the desired effects on the respiratory tract, the muscles and the nerves.
